Requirements:
- Serious contenders will have Grade 12 together with a valid Trade Test or Blasting Certificate and 5 years’ experience as a miner or artisan;
- SAMTRAC or COMSOC 1 & 2 certificates is essential;
- In depth knowledge of the Mine Health and Safety Act (Act 29 of 1996), Occupational Health and Safety Act 93 of 1993 and other related legislation is essential.;
- Experience in Incident Cause Analysis Method (ICAM) methodology is essential;
- Experience in contractor management processes is essential;
- Computer literacy in MS Office Suite is essential;
- A valid Code B driver’s License is essential
